George Adam, currently of Techkon USA, has been inducted into the FPC Hall of Fame for  March 2010.

A Pioneer in Color Management
George Adam was a pioneer in the field of color management. His software attained cult status and was used widely by all color professionals.  

About George
George Adam started Monaco Systems in 1994, and under his leadership, Monaco became the technology leader in color management for printing and digital photography. He successfully sold the company in 2003 to X-Rite. In 2008, George partnered with Techkon GmbH, the innovation leader in densitometers, spectrophotometers and software solutions for the global print community, to expand its presence in the Americas.

Today Techkon USA is recognized as the leading provider of advanced color measurement tools and developer of inline scanning technologies, strategically positioned to play a key role in the automation of color measurement in the print industry. Drawing from previous professional experience with Scitex, Dupont and Kodak, George combines technological vision and engineering excellence with strategic and tactical marketing expertise to produce exceptional bottom-line results. He has a BS and MS in electrical engineering from Syracuse University, expertise in software and hardware development, and holds several patents in image processing and color management.
